DISTRIBUTION of HONG KONG FILM in JAPAN.
Since our very first day in business, we have always acted as a bridge between the Hong Kong and Japanese film markets. 1994 was a particularly successful year for the marketing of Hong Kong movies in Japan. Through our participation in a number of film festivals, we were able to introduce our comedy films ” A CHINESE ODYSSEY ” , ” THE MAD MONK ” , ” FORBIDDEN CITY COP ” and ” THE GOD OF COOKERY ” to Japanese audiences, as well as the Hong Kong comedy superstar Stephen Chaiu.

Furthermore, we will export more Hong Kong films to the world, to allow the people there to learn more about the movies produced in our very own “Pearl of the Orient”.
In order to allow people in Hong Kong to watch good movies from all over the world, we import a large number of foreign films into Hong Kong through our subsidiary company “Golden Culture Entertainment”. It is recognized as a label of good quality film distribution by Japanese moviegoers. One particularly good example of this is the Japanese film ” Godzilla “, which was released here in 1996. The movie not only proved enjoyable for Hong Kong people, it also helped them raise money for the charity. We are proud of the success we have had in promoting cultural interchange between the people of Hong Kong and Japan.
